- I agree! Thank you. - We just remembered Stadlmair last weekend. My brother auditioned for the orchestra, and had to sightread something. He asked if he should play the repeat. Stadlmair answered: "You may repeat as often as you like until you are satisfied." Brother played the repeat as the composer had prescribed.) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 10:26, 3 May 2024 (UTC)

A swap like that can be a bit muddly, so please would you kindly take a quick glance at both articles and both image files, in case there are any obvious errors? - On the bicentenary of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, I remember our recent uplifting choral concert in pictures, on my user page and in my concerts (leading to the two at the church's article). The closest was in the paper. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:46, 7 May 2024 (UTC)

- I agree with both! Pic shows making music happily together, "to joy". (We were in the opening movement of BWV 104.) Maria didn't stand next to me this time, she offers the most attentive look at the conductor, her husband. Two of her daughters performed, one the alto soloist (as in the Misatango, remember?) and one in the alto section. The tenor soloist was seen singing with the choir also. He came all the way from Iceland, and his singing was such an inspiration. I didn't get a chance for a photo as the soloists never rehearsed with us, and I entertained guests while they rehearsed. I linked to the article on 29 March ;) - his 2020 lone St John Passion (singing almost everything) at Bach's grave is still on his website. - Hin Bredendieck? - if we may have a non-free portrait instead of a chair. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 10:50, 8 May 2024 (UTC)
