Hans is a Punjabi surname of Arora Khatri caste of northern India. It is also found as a clan name amongst the Jat[1], Bhangi (Chuhra) and Mirasi caste groups in Punjab, India.[2][3]
Origin[edit]
It originates from the Sanskrit hams, meaning swan or goose.[4]
